before we start

These are the terms for using humhumhum.work ("the space"). We've tried to write them like one person talking to another, not like a lawyer — but where we had to be specific, we were. By using humhumhum, you agree to them. If you don't, that's okay — just don't use it.

what humhumhum is

humhumhum is a quiet digital space where people work alongside each other. It's a small, independent product made by Eunggyu — a designer in Munich, Germany, operating as Dear RoRo (Einzelunternehmen, sole proprietorship). It's in beta. Things may change, break, or move around. We'll try to tell you when they do.

who can use it

humhumhum is invite-only. You can use it if you're 16 or older (or have a parent's consent where your local law requires it), you'll use it kindly and honestly, and the details you give when you claim a seat are accurate. Please don't use it to harass, harm, or impersonate anyone; to share illegal, hateful, or harmful content; or to scrape, hack, or abuse the system.

your seat & your content

When you claim a seat you get a seat number — yours while your account is active. The things you make here — your cover illustration, your desk photo, your one-line notes, your board, your messages — belong to you. By posting them you give us permission to display them within humhumhum so others in the space can see them. That's all: we don't claim ownership, we don't sell them, and we don't use them for ads. You're responsible for what you share. Don't share anything that isn't yours to share.

illustrations & photos

humhumhum has no live video. Instead, you upload a cover illustration for your tile and a photo of your desk, shown on your desk page. Both are visible to others — and they're served from public links, so treat them as public. Don't upload anything you'd rather keep private, and don't upload images of other people without their consent.

what we don't promise

humhumhum is provided "as is." We do our best to keep it running, secure, and pleasant — but things may break, data may rarely be lost (keep your own copies of anything important), and we may change features, pause the service, or close the space with notice. We're a tiny team. We promise to do our best, not perfection.

payments

humhumhum is free during beta. If you'd like, you can tip the maker to support it — tips are handled by Stripe, voluntary, one-off, and non-refundable; we never see your card details. If we ever add paid features, we'll say so clearly before charging anything, and you can choose not to opt in.

if we change these terms

We may update these terms over time. If we make a significant change, we'll notify you by email or with a notice in the space. Continuing to use humhumhum after a change means you accept the updated terms.

leaving

You can stop anytime. To delete your account, open the account menu (your name, top right) and choose "delete account" — this removes your data right away and frees your seat for someone else. You can also email us to do it for you.

if something goes wrong

If you think someone's breaking these terms, or you hit a problem, email hello.threesby@gmail.com. We read every message — we may not reply instantly, but we'll get back to you.

governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, where humhumhum is operated from. If you're a consumer in the EU, you also keep your rights under EU consumer-protection law, which these terms don't override.
